Top Destinations Covered in the Himachal Tour Package

Shimla – The Queen of Hills

Shimla, the former summer capital of British India, is known for its colonial-era architecture, pine-covered hills, and pleasant weather. A stroll along Mall Road or a visit to Jakhoo Temple offers a refreshing introduction to Himachal’s relaxed pace of life. Just outside Shimla, Kufri offers panoramic Himalayan views and adventure activities, especially popular in winter.

Manali – The Valley of Gods

One of the crown jewels of any Himachal Tour Package, Manali is where the mountains truly come alive. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and lush green valleys, it’s a haven for honeymooners, families, and adventure seekers. Highlights include Solang Valley, Hadimba Temple, Vashisht Hot Springs, and the thrilling excursion to Rohtang Pass (subject to permit).

Dharamshala – The Land of the Dalai Lama

Dharamshala offers a spiritual and cultural dimension to the tour. As the home of the Tibetan government-in-exile, it’s known for McLeod Ganj, Namgyal Monastery, and peaceful surroundings that reflect Tibetan Buddhist culture. The area is ideal for those seeking quiet reflection as well as nature walks in the Dhauladhar ranges.

Dalhousie – Colonial Charm Amidst Nature

Dalhousie brings you face-to-face with British-era charm and breathtaking views. With pine forests, flowing rivers, and heritage buildings, it’s perfect for leisurely exploration. A visit to Khajjiar, famously called the “Mini Switzerland of India,” is a highlight. Surrounded by dense forests and alpine meadows, it offers the perfect landscape for relaxation and nature photography.

Amritsar – The Gateway to Spiritual India

While not part of Himachal Pradesh, Amritsar is often included in extended Himachal Tour Packages due to its proximity and spiritual significance. The Golden Temple—the most revered Sikh shrine—is a must-visit for its divine atmosphere and architectural brilliance. Also, the Wagah Border ceremony and Jallianwala Bagh connect you with India’s patriotic spirit.
